Pittsburgh Vintage Grande Prix
David's father, Don, was very involved in the Pittsburgh Vintage Grande Prix, a race of vintage cars on the streets of Pittsburgh that benefits a school for autistic children. On Sunday, the PVGP honored Don and invited the family to wave the green flag to start the day's first race and subsequently the checkered flag to end it. Ann, David's mom, was able to attend with us, though Cindy, Don's sister, was unfortunately grounded in Boulder with the flu. We had hoped to take more pictures of the actual flagging of the race, but our hands were full with the kids and, well, the flags! We did manage to snap a few shots after the ceremonies. Here they are.

Ada has David's hair! Love it.
That is awesome that you guys got to wave the flags for the race!
I have fond memories of David and I as kids watching the race and checking out all the vintage cars in the paddock area.
