Spring Break 2009, Stage 1.5, New River Gorge

On our way to Richmond, we stopped at the New River Gorge Bridge. This is the longest steel arch bridge in the western hemisphere. One day a year, they close it and bungee jumpers and base jumpers heave themselves off it. It is an impressive drop.

Also included are some shots from the car of the mountainous scenery in eastern Virginia. We flatlanders are impressed by this sort of thing.

Lovely shot of the bridge! Nice! :)
You and the kiddos look fabulous, as usual ;) Yah for vacation! Yes, now that we live so close to two mountain ranges and live in the hills, we are totally spoiled :) Enjoy those hills!
